"Purse-suit of Happiness"

...quilted handbags by local artisan, Virginia A. Beck.

These one-of-a-kind, handmade purses are pretty and practical (made of lovely fabrics, roomy inside with a good number of pockets) and make a thoughtful and unique gift...for yourself or for someone else...

As V.B. is fond of saying, "look out Vera Bradley", these bags just might give you a run for your money!

Tai Chi in the Glade...

...postponed!

Sorry everyone, but it was pouring in Williamsport, just poured here in Muncy, and the rain is most likely on its way to Lewisburg, so we have to postpone today's Tai Chi class.

However, we just spoke with the instructor and we will definitely come up with another date within the next few weeks, so expect an update soon!

Grand Opening...

...Saturday, July 16th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.!

Early in the day, we'll have artisans Melinda Orr and John DeWald showing off their talents. Melinda is a metalsmith who designs and creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry (like the one below), and John is a horner and scrimshander whose meticulous attention to detail and traditional craftsmanship shows through in every piece he creates.

Mid-afternoon, Geoffrey of Ankle Root Art Gallery (where he conducts Yoga and Tai Chi classes, and massage), in Williamsport, will be offering chair massages, and, throughout the day, we'll have light refreshments and the opportunity to join in on drawings for two door prizes.

We hope to see you then!
