Yes, Virginia...

...shopping during the holidays can be fun!

Especially when you get a little something for yourself as well...so, on Saturday, November 12th, go on our Holiday Shoppe Hop & Wreath Workshop!

Stop by The Olde Barn Center that day after 10 a.m. to purchase a certificate for our Wreath Workshop...then take the route shown on the map below to the 6 other participating Muncy-area businesses (including Port Penn Peddler!) to not only get some holiday shopping in for your family and friends, but also to pick collect a total of 7 free ornaments for your wreath! But only the first 50 ornaments are free, so don't delay in getting your certificate.

At your 6th stop, Port Penn Peddler, cross people off your holiday gift-giving list by getting them something hand-crafted by a local artist or artisan. Pick up some homemade soaps and lotions for your family and friends, invest in a work of art for your spouse, surprise your wife with a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry, get your little girl or niece a hand-made apron, give your girlfriend a unique NYC boutique bag, or your mother a versatile and practical Miche brand bag.

Make your loved ones feel even more loved...don't give them the expected this holiday season, give them the unexpected!

Truly the Last Friday event...

...that is, for 2011, so please join us on Main Street in downtown Muncy on Friday, October 28th, from 4-7!

Our usual fun evening of local vendors, artists, and artisans will have their tables there -- and Port Penn Peddler will again be in front of Orlie's Market & Deli -- but, in addition, there will be a pie-making contest and kids will be able to get in some early Trick-Treating with the downtown businesses! If you're interested in signing up for the pie contest, please see Sandy Putney at PSP Embroidery for details.

We hope you'll come celebrate the wonderful month of October with us!

Tai Chi in the Glade...

...postponed!

Sorry everyone, but it was pouring in Williamsport, just poured here in Muncy, and the rain is most likely on its way to Lewisburg, so we have to postpone today's Tai Chi class.

However, we just spoke with the instructor and we will definitely come up with another date within the next few weeks, so expect an update soon!

Early in the day, we'll have artisans Melinda Orr and John DeWald showing off their talents.
