With the help of family and friends, we've cleaned out, and cleaned up, the barn. We had been using most of the rooms for storage, so there were musty boxes everywhere, unused tables and chairs, and random outdoor recreation items, all on a layer of straw from last fall's haybales. But with a lot of elbow grease, some cursing, and tears, here's what 2 of the rooms looked like about 4 weeks ago:

It's been hard, physical work, and we still have quite a few things to get into place, but it's all finally coming together.
